Albion is located in the south-central region of Michigan. Formally considered a factory town this municipality is becoming more of a college town whose residents have a strong interest in technology and sustainability issues. The convergence of the North and South branches of the Kalamazoo river are located here. This is an extremely diverse community with a low cost of living. They recently opted in for recreational cultivation and processing facilities.

Emmett Township is located on the East border of the city of Battle Creek. The township boasts a desirable central location, local shopping, the Firekeepers Casino and Resort, and a steadily growing population. Emmett Township is one of the fastest growing communities in Calhoun County.

Bedford Charter Township is located in the northwest corner of Calhoun County. North of Kalamazoo River and Battle Creek Michigan. There are four school districts serving the area, Pennfield, Battle Creek, Gull Lake and Hastings. The Township boasts several parks for recreational activities and family picnics. Bedford also has multiple streams and creeks, which provide access for fishing and recreational water activities.

Battle Creek is located in the northeastern region of Calhoun County. Known as the Breakfast capital of the world, and Cereal City, probably due to being the place of origin for Kelloggs Corn Flakes, and Post’s Grape Nuts. Within Battle Creeks boundaries the Kalamazoo and Battle Creek rivers merge. Also home to Fire Keepers Casino, Battle Creek is a popular tourist destination.
